Specifications:

This design started as a means to lay out dominos in two rows at one time instead of one row at a time. However modern dominos have dimensions that aren’t quite capable of matching accurately with Lego components.

Thus the design was changed to support laying out 2x4 Lego blocks instead. A cam-like action at the rear takes the rotational motion of the 40-tooth gears and converts it into linear motion to push the blocks out the sides. As the vehicle moves forward, the blocks in the loaders move to the back automatically reloading the dispensers.

As a safety, if the mechanism jams a clutch gear allows ‘slip’ to prevent stalling the dispenser motor. For the drive mechanism the wheels inner hub can turn inside the tire if it gets stuck against a wheel or similar to prevent damage to the drive system.
